How things change…
Last weekend my PC’s power supply gave up the ghost and took the motherboard with it. Now that I’m waiting for my replacement motherboard to be mailed to me (cross fingers that nothing else died) I’ve got time to reflect on a few things. First thing on my list is my website. Over the past couple of years I’ve been using PHP-Nuke and I’ve decided it was overboard with some features and lacking in others. I really don’t need a forum, and I need an easier way of managing posts to my website (so I might actually do them more often). After a bit of research I’ve moved to a “blog” style software with Wordpress. Now that I’ve written a plug-in for WordPress to connect to Coppermine image galleries, I’m ready to go. Hopefully we’ll all find the site easier on the eye and more reasonable to manage. Maybe I can get a few people to visit too so I’m not talking to myself so much. |
