		<description>The irony is the sheer myopia with which the CD manufacturers produced this safety fearure. In response to lost revenues due to file-sharing and the popularity of iTunes, allowing the purchase of songs one at a time, they essentially disable it from compatability with the most popular CD players there are: iPods and PCs. Essentially they want to fight falling profits by reducing the apeal of their product. I suppose this makes more sense to corporate types, but it doesn't to me.</description>
